Capital Offense

Book: Capital Offense
Author: Kurt Stevens
Publication: 2013
Genre: Mystery

Bio: Kurt Stevens kills people for a living. Legally. As the State of Ohio’s commissioned executioner, his job is to exact justice against the most hardened criminals. When Kurt’s wife is found dead, all evidence indicates that he’s the killer. Running for his life, he must descend into the criminal underworld to find the truth, and to deliver justice.

Review: At first I thought the book would be really creepy, especially since the author uses his name for the main characters, but it was really good. The first 2 chapters were really hard for me to get into, but once I got past those I couldn't put the book down! The end provided a complete plot twist that totally shocked me. I found myself rooting for Kurt through the whole book.
